17 years ago it took 13 attempts to re-design the kitchen. Fast forward to the present and it was time for a change.
The layout still worked but the unit doors looked tired and unexciting, while the range cooker had to go because it was becoming more difficult to get heavy dishes out of the oven.
Dom suggested an eye level double oven with plenty of new storage above and below, big pan drawers under the hob and slide out trays in the smaller cupboards which were staying. I don't think I looked at thirteen different doors to find the right colour, finish and style, but Dom was quite prepared to source more samples so I could be sure. He fitted a new matching work top, advised on extra lighting and I had a new kitchen I could afford, enjoy and be proud of.
